Students of Class 8 A to G divisions were given first hand information and practical training by a team of doctors from Saifee Hospital and K.E.M Hospital headed by Dr. Minal from Saifee Hospital.
Students were made aware how and when to use CPR steps on someone who is not breathing and can help keep them alive until emergency services arrive. Students enjoyed this workshop which consisted of videos, interactive sessions between the doctors and students.
The most exciting part and practical training was when each student was allowed to perform the basic CPR steps on a mannequin.
The workshop ended with the Jeevan Sanjeevani CPR song as per ISA and IRC guidelines sung by Shankar Jaikishanji.
