Students made slogans on cleanliness and also made artifacts at home for storage of waste, using recycled raw materials.
Open House for the ICSE section and Exhibition put up by the Art, Pre-Primary, and Primary Departments.
The students of grade 1 participated in the Swachata Pakwada Cleanliness week activities on the following topics: Safe handling of drinking water, Water borne diseases, and washing of hands.
The students clicked pictures of COVID protocols to be followed along with images of cleanliness measures that could be taken to keep the surroundings clean. They also made dustbins keeping with the theme best out of waste.
This is Grade 4 celebrating Swachchta Pakhwada by decorating trash bins and making it attractive for kids to use it and keep our classrooms and our school clean. This day is celebrated to create awareness regarding cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation amongst society.
“Swachhata Pakhwada” as a part of “Swachhta Abhiyan” was initiated, with the objective of bringing a fortnight of intense focus on the issues and practices of Swachhata-meaning Cleanliness. To support this great initiative of government and to create awareness about the need for cleanliness, students of IGCSE Year I made comic strips and cartoon posters.
