Today’s assembly will be presented by class 8G.
The theme for today’s assembly is ‘Endeavour ’.

A Story will be narrated by – DARSHIL BOLIYA
SOUMYA DAVE will lead us in prayer followed by the Lord’s Prayer.
The pledge will be said by VED RANE .

SCRIPTURE READING
The reading is taken from the letter of St.Paul to the Ephesians chapter 4 verses 3
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

STORY
The real-life story of Colonel Harland Sanders who was disappointed umpteen times in his life and still
made his dream come true late in his life is really inspiring. He is a seventh-grade dropped out who tried
many ventures in life but tasted bitter every time. He started selling chicken at the age of 40 but his dream
of a restaurant was turned down many times due to conflicts and wars. Later he attempted to franchise his
restaurant. His recipe got rejected 1,009 times before the final approval. And soon the secret recipe,
“Kentucky Fried Chicken” became a huge hit worldwide. KFC was expanded globally and the company
was sold for 2 million dollars and his face is still celebrated in the logos.
Have you stopped your attempts at a venture just because you were rejected or failed a few times? Can
you even accept a failure of 1009 times? This story inspires everyone to try hard and believe in themselves
until they see success despite how many times they have failed
So friends If you endeavour to do something, you try very hard to do it. An endeavour is an attempt to do
something, especially soumething new or original.
It’s a fact we all have to constantly endeavour in order to get excellent marks in our examination.. No
matter how your grades were in the past.. It’s time for you to prove yourselves and express your love to
your school and family through your marks and good behavior…
PRAYER
Let us join our hands and bow our heads for the prayer.
Lord, today I’m asking You to help me succeed as a student. I believe You are the Dream-maker, the
Cultivator, and the Fulfiller of all worthy dreams. You have been the Designer of my plans all along, and
it’s You who will make them successful. Help me to focus on my schoolwork, to listen carefully and
show respect for my teachers, and receive correction well in areas where I’m wrong or haven’t yet
mastered.
We make this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen
