Hindi Elocution Competition

Hindi Elocution Competition

The inter-house Hindi Elocution Competition was held on Wednesday, 16th October 2019. The four houses sent up students from classes V to X. Each House sent a boy and girl per standard.

The poems recited were of a very high standard and were appreciated by the judges. The topics and themes of the poems ranged from satire, political humour and dignity of women.

It was a well-fought competition and Willoughby House won the over-all trophy. There was a tie for individual categories in some classes.

It was indeed a wonderful experience for the young budding students to be exposed to the rich poetic culture.
