‘Diwali Dhamaka’ was an evening of excitement and fun organized by our school pre-primary section for Children and their parents on 11th November 2019. The response was overwhelming and children enjoyed the many games organized for them. It was a wonderful way for parents to bond with their children and celebrate as a family.
Nursery rhymes are important for young children because they help develop the ear for our language. Both rhyme and rhythm help kids hear the sounds and syllables in words, which help them learn to read!
Plain Speaking is a Choral Recitation, where the pre-primary children are exposed on the stage for the first time in the academic year to recite their poems in the presence of the Principal, head-mistress and their parents. This month, Christ Church held an International Debate Championship for the students. We witnessed our students developing their communication sills and improve their knowledge on various issues of the world. It gave them an opportunity to stand up and confidently talk about their view points on such topics. It was an afternoon well-spent.
